To reconnect with customers who were not actively using the platform’s services, PayPal wanted a campaign that could reconnect with these SMEs. General services businesses such as beauticians, plumbers, handy man, photographers etc… were chosen as the target for the campaign.
For the campaign, visuals of peers were used to engage the target audience and help the overarching proposition: ‘Spend less time chasing money and more time doing what you do best’.
An email campaign was created to drive the audience to a landing page showcasing the different products with different call to actions. A paid advertising campaign supported the campaign, with online banners.
The campaign got a great response with a lot of engagement.
